I haven’t done a vision board in eons, probably sometime in the last decade. But I was inspired to create my own after seeing fellow blogger Jessica Rose Williams create one. It is nice to put your thoughts and dreams onto a nice piece of posterboard and just let that creativity roam free.
All I did was pick up a piece of posterboard from the local craft store. I grabbed some magazines, scissors, and a glue stick and got to work.
Health and wellness are the very top of my 2020 list. I want to get back into yoga, which is an activity I haven’t done in years, but always enjoyed. Eating healthfully, taking my vitamins, meditation, exercise, etc… are all important to having a healthy immune system, which is what I am all about 🙂
I want to get in the kitchen and create more plant-based meals for my family. Creativity is also important to me and I want to express myself more on here with my blog.
Natural beauty means overhauling what I currently use on my face in terms of cleansers and make-up. I don’t wear a lot of make-up but what I do wear, I want it to be good for my skin.
I also want to incorporate more fun in my life and less of the monotony. That calls for a road trip! 🙂 We have one scheduled for this spring and I can’t wait.
Have you ever done a vision board? Do you need to creatively express your goals?

I did a vision board years ago when they were all the rage. Was it from The Secret? I can’t remember. I actually wouldn’t mind doing another because I would be more honest now, which sounds a bit terrible. But I made them at a women’s retreat and back then, particularly, I could be more self-conscious about what others thought. So I played it safe, you know? Not exactly proud of that fact but it’s the truth and there is definitely value in recognizing truths in ourselves. I am actually going to be placing an order with The Ordinary soon. They have very affordable skincare and don’t test on animals, etc. I’ve finally started a vitamin regimen, which I desperately needed. One area that I’m really bad at right now is exercise. I lost my swimming pool and walking outdoors every day. I don’t like going to the gym so I’ve just been doing nothing and that needs to change. Love that you’re taking a road trip this Spring! Sounds like fun! I don’t necessarily love driving in the big city (I miss LA but I don’t miss the 405) but I love driving. It feels freeing to me. Can’t wait to hear more about your vision board and how you’re making it real!

I’ve never read The Secret, so I don’t know. And I totally get playing it safe when it comes to sharing what you want to do, with others. You should totally do a vision board! I would love to see what you come up with 🙂
Thanks for letting me know about The Ordinary, I will have to check them out!!!!
