So, Instagram has this feature where in addition to your regular posts/pictures, you can also share “stories” which can either be a photo or video, and it stays in your feed for only 24 hours unless you save it. I decided to save a few of my stories and share them here ๐
I recently made a dozen or so of strawberry muffins with the first batch of strawberries that I purchased this season. Yes, I know you can get strawberries practically year-round, but they truly only taste fresh in the spring and summer.
They were delicious! And literally gone in two days ๐
Went on a coffee date with my husband…
Went and got baby girl’s ears pierced and decided 7 holes in my ears wasn’t enough so now I have 9. #livingmybestlife
Made this meal for dinner and it was sooooo good!!!! Turkey meatballs, chickpea pasta, parmesan and romano pasta sauce, sprinkled on top with a four cheese Italian blend… Mmmmmmm, delicious! ๐
Thankful I live where I live in Southern California and can drive a short distance and see the ocean.

It’s almost May and I haven’t picked up any strawberries from the farmer’s market yet. For shame! It’s terrible because there is literally a farmer’s market 3 blocks from my home every Friday. ๐ Those muffins look amazing and there is nothing like fresh-picked California strawberries. I love Huntington Beach. Their ocean views are some of the best. My ears are pierced but I rarely wear earrings. Back when I worked in television, the headset was so dang tight that it hurt when I wore earrings and got out of the habit. I put some in the other day and it was almost like re-piercing my ears. I like multiple piercings but I’m a bit of a wimp. ๐ I’ve heard good things about the chickpea pasta but have not tried it yet.
The muffins were sooooo yummy! And Huntington Beach is always a good time ๐

I would have loved to meet up but unfortunately, I have been knee-deep in packing because we are moving next week. Definitely at another time!
You know I don’t know if I’ve ever HAD strawberry muffin? I always default to blueberry and save the strawberries for Smitten Kitchen’s strawberry cake recipe ( https://smittenkitchen.com/2011/05/strawberry-summer-cake/ ).
I need to fix that when strawberries come into season here.
